Detailed introduction
The specific habits of the Whitehead Trogon (scientific name: Harpactes whiteheadi) are unknown.

Grey-breasted trogons nest in tree cavities, utilizing natural tree holes. Some species dig nests in decaying wood or inside ant or termite nests (eating the eggs and unfazed by termite bites). They lay 2–5 eggs, which are spherical and white or slightly tinged. Incubation lasts 2–3 weeks. Chicks develop feathers 2–3.5 weeks after hatching. Both parents participate in raising the chicks.
Listed as Least Concern (LC) in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, 2009 version 3.1.
