Distribution and Habitat
Distributed in the islands of the Pacific Ocean (including Taiwan Province of China, the Dongsha Islands, Xisha Islands, Zhongsha Islands, Nansha Islands, as well as the Philippines, Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, Sumatra and Java in Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea).
It is mainly distributed in the Pacific Ocean, and breeds in the Ogasawara Islands and Iwo Jima Islands. In Taiwan, it is only found in Taiwan and is discovered from March to July.
Appearance
Forehead, lores, and throat white; crown and nape grey; back dark greyish-gray with white feather edges; underwings white; underparts white; upper tail coverts bluish-grey; tail feathers dark brown. Bill black; tarsi pink. Body length approximately 330 mm.
Detailed introduction
The white-bellied round-tailed shelduck, Latin name Pterodroma alba, foreign name Phoenix Petrel, has only one subspecies in my country.

The White-bellied Round-tailed Shearling feeds on fish and crustaceans. It is characterized by its circling flight, calls, and sudden descents, making it easily identifiable in the wild. It is an occasionally seen species.
