It is distributed in Colombia, Santa Marta, the Sierra Nevada and neighboring regions, and Venezuela.
Appearance
The abdomen is bright red to yellow, the chest and upper body are dark, and the tail is covered with white feathers.
Detailed introduction
The white-tailed quetzal, scientifically known as *Pharomachrus fulgidus*, also called White-tipped Quetzal or White-tipped Trogon, has two subspecies, the specific habits of which are unknown.
