Distribution and Habitat
Snowy petrels are distributed in South America (including Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, and the Falkland Islands) and Antarctica (including the Antarctic continent, the Antarctic Peninsula, and several islands such as the South Shetland Islands and South Georgia Island).
Appearance
The Snowy Petrel is pure white, measuring 30–40 cm in length, weighing 202–570 g, and with a wingspan of 75–95 cm. It has a wedge-shaped tail.

Snowy petrels typically live in marine areas and are commonly found on tightly packed ice floes. They primarily feed on krill (Krill genus), fish, and squid.
