Detailed introduction
The Rodrigues dodo was a type of bird that resembled the dodo and, like the dodo, was flightless. Between 1662 and 1690, the dodo was hunted to extinction, and after the Réunion dodo was also heavily hunted, only the Rodrigues dodo remained. It became one of the animals that completely went extinct around 1730 due to further hunting.
